Once into the book, I could hardly put it down. I finished the book in one day. I have to stop that, there aren't that many good books out there to read. J B Turner is a great author. I will be looking for other books he has written.

This book kept my interest throughout but I am not sure if it was because the story was that intriguing or whether or not I just enjoy super hero stories. How one human can have that many skills, friends in high places, dollars, access to that which is necessary, and plain old luck is a gift few will ever experience. Even though "are you kidding me?" went through my brain quite a few times during the read, I will definitely pick up the next one !
First in the series was 340 or so pages. Second was just over 300, now this one arrives under 270. This is a trend these days, and it begins to feel like a bait-and-switch ripoff. I like his stuff, but if there's going to be less of it, and the quality doesn't increase, as it did not in this book, I won't be buying more. There are a lot of good books out there, and a lot of others I wouldn't mind rereading.
This is the second J B Turner book I've read and I'll read the third one in this series. Keeps the action going and you don't really want to put it down. Waiting to see if the two main characters will ever get together before it ends. Can't really pronounce the names or spell them so I just call then Ryan and Myers.

This was a good base storyline but the author took the easy road in laying out the investigation by the main character. His "special" sources of information were a bit unbelievable, especially in the timeframes that it happened in the book. Also, the antagonism of federal government people was overplayed to the point that it wasn't effective in the telling of the story. As in many things... a little is a lot - that holds true for antagonists in powerful position.
This is the first one of this series I've read. Enjoyable.

Those of us who read frequently know it's tough to make the cliched, guy who breaks the rules, character interesting. This works.

Great book great story .JB. brought just how the different security agencies are so far from being on the same team. The CIA general should be prosecuted to the fullest extent. He deserved to lose more than a finger. I love Jon's response to the President invitations for an award. Meyerstein and Jon make great team. Can't wait for J.B. 4th book.I
I have blown through the first three books the last few days. I cant wait to finish the last three. I have been reading various Tier One series, and the writing that has gone into the characters makes you so vested in them.
If you like these books, I recommend the Tier One series books by Andrews and Wilson. As well as Dylan Kane and Delta Force unleashed series by J. Robert Kennedy. If there are any others people recommend, let me know!
